Group sales increased by 9 percent
In its anniversary year 2023, the Dussmann Group achieved sales of just over 3 billion euros. As the service company, which was founded in 1963, revealed in its press release, this was the first time that sales exceeded the 3 billion euro mark.
In 2023, turnover increased by 9% compared to the previous year. "This is essentially organic growth, which in 2023 was primarily driven by strong growth in the facility management business in Germany, Italy and Luxembourg", explained Wolf-Dieter Adlhoch, CEO of the Dussmann Group.
At 4.4%, the EBITDA margin in 2023 was lower than in 2022, when a margin of 6.1% was achieved.
Adloch commented: "In the 2023 financial year, we achieved a solid result in a challenging economic environment."
New Group strategy
In addition to the business figures, the Berlin-based family business also reported on a new Group strategy. Following the "Next Level" strategy established five years ago, there is now the "Road to 2023" strategy. This is intended to show the company the way forward for the next five years.
"With 'Road to 2030', we remain on a clear course as the leading full-service and solutions partner of choice for our clients, especially in challenging times. We will remain a family business with the three pillars of Dussmann, Care & Kids and media retail," explained the CEO.
