Production building for yogurt in a jar
Unternehmensgruppe Theo Mülleris building a new production facility in Aretsried, Swabia. The dairy Alois Müller GmbH, which belongs to the Group, is located in the town.
According to Theo Müller's press release, the new plant will significantly increase production capacity for yogurt.
Building with an area of around 4,500 square meters
The Group expects the property to be completed in the summer of 2025 and, according to the company, the total area of the building will be around 4,500 square meters. According to the press release, there will be modern facilities for filling, sorting and cleaning returnable glasses.
According to the food company, fifty new jobs will be created at the site. Production is set to start in the first half of 2026.
140 million euros for the Aretsried site
Over the past ten years, Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller has invested a total of around 140 million euros in the Aretsried site. Among other things, this has resulted in the construction of a high-bay warehouse. In addition, the administration building has been expanded and the new production building is now under construction.
Christian Goldammer, Head of Operations and responsible for the production site: "Investments in production are always a highlight, also for the employees, as they are associated with the further development of the entire site. This time is no exception. We are therefore delighted to be commissioning a filling line for yogurts in returnable jars for the first time at our plant in 2026."
