The SSI SCHAEFER Group has published its third sustainability report, which documents the company's ongoing efforts in the area of sustainable development.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of concrete measures, goals and efforts aimed at creating a more sustainable future.
A central concern of the activities is the implementation of the sustainability strategy launched in 2021, which takes ecological, social and economic aspects into account.

Progress despite a challenging environment
Despite persistently difficult market conditions and a gloomy investment environment, the SSI SCHAEFER Group made progress in the area of sustainability last year. According to the information provided, the recording of key sustainability figures was extended to the 22 largest subsidiaries in order to increase transparency and understanding of the company's sustainability performance. In addition, the Group has adopted a climate strategy that sets measurable reduction targets to reduce its environmental footprint. Another important element is the energy transformation concept that was completed for the international headquarters in Neunkirchen.
With the EcoVadis "Bronze" award for the entire group of companies, SSI Schaefer belongs to the top third of the evaluated companies.
For 2024, the SSI SCHAEFER Group plans to continue to pursue its sustainability goals and identify new measures to further strengthen the sustainability of its business activities and those of its customers.
