Our customer, the oldest printing press manufacturer in the world, develops highly specialized printing systems and the associated peripherals. The focus was on a chain rail whose function is to precisely guide a chain within the printing machine. Previously, the component was manufactured using a complex flame-cutting and milling process.
The aim was to create full cost transparency and identify more economical production options. In total, we realized a documented savings potential of € 372,600.
