Our customer, the Bauer Group (a long-established company in the milk and dairy industry), was faced with increasing complexity in its packaging and supply chain: a broad product range including private labels and fresh produce wholesale, a wide variety of packaging materials and multi-layered logistics and production structures. The aim was to optimise central packaging materials and reduce indirect costs.<\/p>\n

Procedure: Expert interviews for in-depth product understanding, detailed tenders with systematic bid comparisons, qualification of suitable suppliers, cross-location implementation scenarios and optimised contract design.<\/p>\n

Result: savings of 5 to 25.5 %, depending on the product group, with a rapid P&L impact. In addition, supplier management was measurably improved: bundling effects, clear contract structures and greater expertise in tenders and negotiations.
