This resulted in high process costs, as well as inconsistent quality and safety standards in the area of personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n<p>The project's objective was to create transparency in the database, standardise the PPE product group nationwide, and select suitable suppliers. The measures taken made it possible to unlock cost potential and significantly streamline procurement
