Thermal management modules for a total of almost 1.5 billion euros<\/h2>\n

Mahle<\/a> has won two new major orders for Thermal management modules <\/strong>received. According to the technology group's press release, the two projects have a combined order volume of almost 1.5 billion euros.<\/p>\n

According to the Stuttgart-based company, one of the orders is the largest single order in the company's history. According to the press release, this comes from an established, globally positioned vehicle manufacturer. The second order comes from an up-and-coming, innovative car manufacturer from the Asian region, writes Mahle.<\/p>\n

Thermal management: an important strategic field<\/h3>\n

As Mahle explains, the company is bringing together components that were previously installed separately in the thermal management modules. These modules control the temperature of the battery, vehicle interior, drive train and power electronics. The modules work more efficiently than their individual parts, emphasises Mahle. According to the press release, they can significantly increase the range of an electric car by up to 20 per cent and the charging speed.<\/p>\n

Mahle also explains that thermal management as a driver of electrification is an important strategic field for the Group.<\/p>\n
