These should enable better patient care in the future. <\/p>\n<p>According to the information, Bayer is expanding its innovation portfolio and utilising Google Cloud technology. The aim is to accelerate the provision of AI-supported applications in the healthcare sector, specialising in radiology. The aim is to develop secure software for medical imaging. <\/p>\n<p>Nelson Ambrogio, Head of Radiology at Bayer, explains: \u201eRadiology plays a critical role in healthcare: the need to efficiently gain accurate insights and deliver solutions at scale that can improve outcomes for many patients has never been greater.\u201c By working together, the vast amount of data can be transformed into meaningful insights, allowing radiologists to optimise their time management for the benefit of patients. <\/p>\n<h3>Data processing with AI<\/h3>\n<p>According to the information, 90 per cent of health data is collected from medical image data, making radiology one of the most important tools for diagnosing patients. The increased volume of data also increases the workload for medical staff. <\/p>\n<p>Bayer and Google Cloud are developing AI tools to process data more efficiently. The new platform will enable the analysis, development and introduction of healthcare solutions in the cloud. AI-supported data analysis can accelerate the introduction of new solutions. <\/p>\n<p>Initial tests of the platform are to be carried out in the EU and the USA this year. <\/p>\n<h3>About data protection and security<\/h3>\n<p>Life science companies like Bayer must adhere to strict data security standards. The security features of Google Cloud ensure that patients can manage their data securely.
