Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey GmbH, a company specialising in manufacturer-independent MRO services, is planning to expand its warehousing and storage facilities. Storage and logistics capacities<\/strong> for Aircraft engines<\/em> in Alzey. The company is entering into a cooperation with Goldbeck, a construction and service company, and the Timbra Group, a property developer, to implement the project. <\/p>\n In future, spare parts for Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey will be placed there. These will then be used for engines for regional and business aircraft as well as medium-haul jets. Once completed, the logistics area will be expanded from 242,000 square feet by 110,000 square feet. The first construction measures were already initiated in March 2024. The entire roof area is also greened. An efficient heat pump is used for the underfloor heating.
