From the <em>Home hub<\/em> Frankfurt is served twice a week by Shenzhen Boa'an International Airport (SZX) and three times a week by Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO). The B777F long-haul fleet will be deployed on these routes. <\/p>\n<p>Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo, explains: \u201eIn the Chinese market, the e-commerce business segment in particular is growing steadily and we continue to see high demand, especially to Europe. Accordingly, additional air freight capacity is also required to transport goods quickly, safely and in accordance with regulations.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Advantages for global world trade<\/h3>\n<p>According to Lufthansa Cargo, the new B777F freighter is expected to arrive this summer.<br \/>\nThe expansion of the route network enables Lufthansa Cargo's customers to participate in global world trade and promote sustainability at the same time. The company itself is thereby expanding its influence in the Asian region. <\/p>\n<p>In future, Lufthansa Cargo will have a total of 19 destinations with 47 weekly frequencies in Asia. The focus will be on eCommerce in particular. <\/p>\n<h3>About Lufthansa Cargo<\/h3>\n<p>Lufthansa Cargo is one of the world's leading airfreight transport companies. Its turnover is 3.0 billion euros and its annual transport performance is 7.5 billion freight tonne-kilometres. The company employs around 4150 people worldwide. The route network covers around 300 destinations in over 100 countries. Both aircraft and lorries are used. <\/p>\n<p>The company focuses on the airport-to-airport business.
