The S. Oliver Group<\/a> has launched its first Sustainability report<\/strong> has been published. According to the company's press release, the report relates to the 2023 financial year.<\/p>\n

It offers a comprehensive overview of the fashion group's sustainability activities. Both significant successes and challenges are highlighted. The report also presents a plan for the future of the Group.<\/p>\n

Basis for sustainability management<\/h3>\n

About the importance of Sustainability<\/em> Sabrina M\u00fcller, Head of Global Sustainability at the S. Oliver Group, says: \u201eSustainability is an integral part of our corporate values and our self-image. We want to make our contribution, provide impetus and advocate for positive change, above and beyond legal requirements.\u201c<\/p>\n

According to her statements, M\u00fcller is convinced that circular business models not only offer sustainable solutions, but can also open up new sales potential. M\u00fcller also says that continuous reporting is the basis for successful and credible sustainability management. <\/p>\n

In its press release, the S. Oliver Group emphasises that responsibility has always been a central component of its corporate culture.<\/p>\n

Regular reporting in future<\/h3>\n

S. Oliver emphasises that it started comprehensive sustainability reporting at an early stage - even before the obligation under the European Directive (CSRD). The company has always spoken out in favour of EU-wide harmonised legislation. It also sees mandatory sustainability reporting as an opportunity for a sustainable industry.<\/p>\n
