Schiefelbein continues: \u201eAccounting for around a third of final energy consumption, the building sector is of paramount importance when it comes to climate protection. Stefan Wenzel, the Parliamentary State Secretary responsible for energy and climate protection policy issues at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, explains: \u201eStiebel Eltron's investment project at the Holzminden site to further expand production capacity emphasises the importance of heat pumps as a key technology for the heat transition and is representative of the efforts of all those involved in the heat pump offensive.\u201c It contributes equally to climate protection and to strengthening regional competitiveness.<\/p>\n
