\nMichael Quath<\/strong> We were very open to it, primarily because I already knew Kloepfel Consulting positively from a previous role. Furthermore, we approached the project differently than other companies. Even on our own initiative, we are constantly improving our cost side despite our strong financial situation. We decided on this additional cost-saving project not due to financial struggles, but to strengthen our competitiveness. Together with Kloepfel Consulting, we examined all relevant cost groups. In some groups, we were and still are very well-positioned due to our previous cost optimisation. However, in other areas, including energy, telecommunications, and insurance, Kloepfel Consulting was able to show us further significant improvement potential.<\/p>\n
\nMichael Quath<\/strong> We wanted to review our costs and cost management ourselves, and on the other hand, to incorporate potential improvements from the market. The decision to undertake this project was also made very easy for us by Kloepfel Consulting's fair remuneration system, which finances itself exclusively through the realised savings, thus presenting a clear cost risk.<\/p>\n
\nMichael Quath<\/strong> The cost reductions achieved will allow us to be more competitive in the market, pass on our improved terms to our customers, and further enhance our strengths in service. We consider this an absolutely necessary strategic measure to strengthen our company in the long term, which in turn will give us the financial means to achieve business success.<\/p>\n
\nMichael Quath<\/strong> The way of working was very structured and transparent. We always had control over the entire project, as the Kloepfel team first submitted detailed weekly reports to us in writing and then discussed them with us. In weekly meetings, the further course of action was agreed upon and optimised for each topic. This was very convenient. We could see exactly at which project point savings were to be achieved. At the end, we received a final report for each item, showing which savings had been achieved, which new prices and conditions applied, and also what Kloepfel's remuneration was for this.<\/p>\n
\nMichael Quath<\/strong> That was certainly the case, without any doubt. We found the employees to be very pleasant. Our employees and the Kloepfel team ultimately shared a very pragmatic attitude, a hand-on mentality. We had the impression that the Kloepfel consultants did not want to achieve success with a crowbar. Instead, they discussed the overall business sense of a measure with us. In doing so, they also incorporated our company philosophy to a certain extent in order to be able to negotiate and speak with our suppliers in our favour. Of course, problems such as changing expectations and controversies also arise in a project like this, but we were able to address these openly and find constructive solutions together.<\/p>\n
\nMichael Quath<\/strong> We decided together beforehand which suppliers Kloepfel Consulting should speak to alone and which ones we absolutely wanted to sit at the table with. Each supplier was informed in advance in a joint letter that Kloepfel Consulting would approach the supplier on our behalf. Suppliers have certainly tried to contact us directly again. However, the success of such a project also depends on a certain consistency. All in all, we were certainly very satisfied with the process and the results. The open communication and expertise of the purchasing consultants on site and the many purchasing consultancy specialists in the background were crucial.<\/p>\n
