We uncover hidden costs in indirect purchasing and turn them into potential savings.
In many companies in industry, trade or the service sector, indirect product groups such as marketing, IT, telecommunications, facility management, vehicle fleet, logistics or insurance have grown historically and are usually the responsibility of the specialist departments on a decentralized basis. Purchasing is often only marginally or not at all involved in the procurement processes.
Indirect costs, also known as overheads, often receive little attention, even though they tie up considerable purchasing volumes. Especially in the area of services, there is often a lack of transparency regarding costs and services. This is precisely where untapped savings potential lies dormant. Despite high volumes, there are usually only limited human resources available in indirect purchasing to leverage these in a targeted manner.
With over 17 years of experience and an international team of more than 3,500 purchasing experts, we know how to turn theory into practical success. We create transparency, identify optimization potential and work with you to develop individual measures to sustainably reduce your indirect costs.
We will get in touch with you within 24 hours!

Our successes speak speak for themselves.
Optimization of insurance and broker costs
Our client in the book wholesale industry had high insurance and brokerage costs as well as a non-compliant insurance program with existing gaps in coverage. The processes were inefficient and led to unnecessary costs.
The goal was to reduce insurance and broker costs, close coverage gaps and bring the insurance program into compliance. Through our work, savings of 35% on insurance costs and 70% on broker costs were realized.
Holistic optimization
Our client from the consumer goods and hospitality industry used its fleet of vehicles for both sales purposes and to motivate employees. The existing car policy was only minimally defined and there were no major customer contracts or framework agreements with manufacturers.
The aim was to review the leasing conditions in their entirety, identify potential savings and optimize processes via new framework agreements. By analyzing all costs and evaluating alternatives, savings of 9% were ultimately achieved with the existing supplier and 18% with an alternative provider.
Optimization of shopfitting materials
Our customer, a non-food discounter operating throughout Europe with around 4,000 stores, had a constantly high demand for shopfitting materials due to rebranding and expansion measures.
Among other things, the aim was to establish global sourcing and optimize the procurement strategy with regard to future expansion areas. The current service provider was evaluated and alternative sources of supply identified. In the end, savings of 10% were realized with the existing supplier and 27% with an alternative provider.
