Sustainable Exhibition Stand Award for Vorarlberg lighting group
The Zumtobel Group was honored for its exhibition stand at this year's Light + Building. The Vorarlberg-based lighting company received the Designplus Award in the "Sustainable Exhibition Stand" category.
As the company writes in its press release, its stand concept embodies aspects of sustainability and combines these with lightness in the architecture.
Designplus Award - 11 winners
The Designplus Award was presented on Sunday, the first day of the Light + Building trade fair. This year, the award was presented in the following four categories: Light + Creation PLUS, Sustainability + Efficiency PLUS, Smart + Connectivity PLUS and the new Sustainable Exhibition Stand category. There were 11 winners in total, five in the Sustainable Exhibition Stand category alone.
With the new category introduced this year, Messe Frankfurt is showing its commitment to supporting sustainable events, according to its press release.
"As the world's leading trade fair, Light + Building promotes the development of key topics in the lighting industry, including the need for greater sustainability. We are delighted to reflect this focus with our stand concept and our products, among other things. And we are all the more pleased that our sustainably designed concept was awarded in the special category 'Sustainable Exhibition Stand'," explains Alfred Felder, CEO of the Zumtobel Group.
