Focus on the packaging market and digital solutions
From May 28 to June 7, 2024, Drupa will once again take place in Düsseldorf after an eight-year break. Drupa is considered the largest trade fair for the printing and graphics industry worldwide.
Printing press manufacturer Koenig & Bauer will also be exhibiting in Düsseldorf. According to the Würzburg-based company, it will be showcasing new products on a stand measuring over 4,000 square meters. According to the announcement, Koenig & Bauer's trade fair appearance will be under the motto "More".
Live events and hybrid shows
According to the press release, the presentation will focus in particular on the packaging market and digital solutions. The three pillars of the company's so-called Exceeding Print strategy will have a significant influence on the trade fair presentation, according to the press release from the printing press manufacturer. These pillars are sustainability, digitalization and modularity.
The aim is to provide visitors with interesting insights into the many ways in which print production can be raised to a new level of efficiency.
Koenig & Bauer points out that, in addition to the strategic core topics, the company's entire product portfolio will be on show at Drupa. According to the company, this will take place in a combination of live events and hybrid shows.
In the run-up to the trade fair, Andreas Pleßke, CEO of Koenig & Bauer, said: "As chairman of the drupa committee, I expect a spectacular trade fair with countless highlights. As CEO of Koenig & Bauer, I am looking forward to presenting visitors with our latest innovations in the fields of digitalization and sustainability."

Koenig & Bauer explains that needs-based production, reduced resource consumption and optimized printing processes are top priorities for the company. As Andreas Pleßke explains, at Koenig & Bauer sustainability also means lower costs.
The Green Dot Award has been in existence for two years. It is intended to recognize companies that have already made innovative contributions to sustainable printing.
