Fragrance production for well-known fashion brand
Mäurer & Wirtz is taking over the brand license for Tom Tailor Fragrances from Luxess GmbH as of 1 January 2025. The company, one of the largest fragrance manufacturers in Germany, is thus adding another brand to its portfolio. Tom Tailor is primarily known for fashion in the mainstream segment.
According to Stephan Kemen, CE0 of Mäurer & Wirtz, this license acquisition is a strategic step that supports the goal of becoming one of the world's leading fragrance manufacturers by 2030. At the same time, Kemen expects the company's market position to be strengthened, particularly in Eastern Europe. According to the Mäurer & Wirtz press release, Kemen's sales target is 300 million euros. According to the CEO of the family-owned company, this turnover threshold is within reach by 2025.
Mäurer & Wirtz already carries licensed brands such as s.Oliver and Baldessarini. Gernot Lenz, CEO of Tom Tailor, is delighted with the cooperation with Mäurer & Wirtz. He praises the expertise and market proximity of the fragrance manufacturer. In Lenz's opinion, there are good prerequisites for fully exploiting the potential of Tom Tailor Fragrances.
