New CEO and new CFO at Munich-based agricultural services provider
Frank Hiller was recently appointed Chairman of the Board of Management at Baywa AG. The agricultural services provider's Supervisory Board also appointed a new Chief Financial Officer. Matthias J. Rapp now holds this position. Both managers took up their new positions on March 1.
Largest transformation in the company's history
Gregor Scheller, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, commented on the change in the Board of Management: "BayWa is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history. The company must become more robust and profitable in the long term and is once again focusing on its core business areas. We are therefore delighted to welcome the two new members of the Board of Management, who identify precisely with these goals." Both gentlemen assured the Supervisory Board that it is a personal goal for them to lead Baywa back on the road to success in the interests of its customers, suppliers and employees.
Frank Hiller - former Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutz AG
Frank Hiller was CEO of Big Dutchman, a provider of feeding and stall systems, until 2024. Prior to this, he managed Deutz AG for five years. During his career to date, he has also held board positions at Leoni, MAN Truck & Bus, Meiller and Thyssen-Krupp, among others. As Baywa points out, Hiller has already successfully implemented a number of strategic transformation programs.
Matthias J. Rapp - Expertise in financial management
Until 2024, Rapp was responsible for finance and controlling at TÜV Süd. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. Rapp has worked in industry since 1997. He has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at several companies, including Webasto. In 2021, he became an honorary professor at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).
