Technical sourcing as a solution

From analysis to optimal production: Reducing costs and creating value in technical purchasing.
Technical sourcing offers specialized solutions for increasing efficiency and optimizing costs. Our experts analyze products, make production and cost structures transparent and, thanks to their technical understanding, uncover significantly greater savings potential than traditional approaches.
As a matchmaker between component and manufacturing process, we look for suppliers with the right manufacturing structure for the required part, i.e. with the optimum manufacturing methods and machines. This reduces manufacturing costs and also makes the components cheaper to purchase.
Technical sourcing not only opens up additional savings potential, but also strengthens your supply chain in the long term by reducing single-sourcing risks and broadening your supplier base.
We will get in touch with you within 24 hours!

Success triangle from KLOEPFEL by epsa - consulting
The success triangle of KLOEPFEL by EPSA - consulting stands for the unique combination of cost optimization, cost engineering and technical sourcing. Each of these three pillars is effective in its own right, but the full effect only unfolds in combination.
In the first step, cost optimization through benchmarking and clever negotiation strategies ensure quick, direct savings. Building on this, cost engineering uncovers deeper potential by analyzing products technically and eliminating unnecessary costs through alternative materials or manufacturing processes. Finally, technical sourcing ensures that the right suppliers with the right technologies are found so that products can be manufactured efficiently and in a future-proof manner.
This combination is unique because it systematically interlinks purchasing, technology and supplier management and thus achieves savings that would be unattainable with traditional approaches.

Customer successes that speak for themselves:
Turned and milled parts
Our customer, a global market leader in the field of measurement and control technology, produced recurring turned and milled parts that were used in measuring equipment in-house. Due to the economic unprofitability of this in-house production, a reduction in internal production was sought and outsourcing was considered.
The aim was to optimize the costs for the recurring turned parts, establish alternative suppliers and ensure reliable security of supply. We were able to achieve a saving of 61% and security of supply was ensured through alternative suppliers.
