ABOUT THE JOB

Senior Manager Indirect Spend (f/m/d)

What's in store for you?

  • Project management of customer projects to reduce procurement costs in the indirect area
  • Strategic purchasing of non-production materials (NPM) such as maintenance services, energy, consumables, office supplies, facility management and much more.
  • Consulting and close cooperation with our customers to understand their individual needs and to develop and implement customized solutions
  • Analysis of procurement markets, trends, suppliers and prices and the associated identification of cost reduction potential for our customers
  • Main contact person for our suppliers including supplier development in international markets with the involvement of the respective specialist departments and purchasing departments of our customers
  • Drafting and conclusion of supply agreements and framework agreements
  • Supporting sales and proactively developing new sales channels/ideas, in particular with a focus on the responsible areas

What should you bring with you?

  • Degree in economics or engineering or comparable commercial or technical training with appropriate further qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably experience in a management consultancy with a focus on procurement topics
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic purchasing and procurement
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • A convincing personality paired with a strong service mentality and high customer orientation
