ABOUT THE JOB

Senior Vice President Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

What's in store for you?

  • Responsibility for the strategic and operational alignment of the global supply chain in the areas of Integrated Planning (IP), Material Management (MM), Distribution (warehouse & transportation) and Order Management (standard and special orders)
  • Development and implementation of a global SCM strategy in line with corporate objectives
  • Control of the global demand planning process across all production sites
  • Responsibility for smooth order processing for all international sales companies in the European production plants
  • Development and implementation of a reporting framework with relevant KPIs and initiation of measures in the event of deviations from targets
  • Continuous optimization and automation of processes as well as harmonization of structures and workflows
  • Responsibility for budget planning and cost control of the global SCM organization including logistics and transport costs
  • Establishing, leading and developing a global team and ensuring clear definitions of roles and responsibilities
  • Promoting efficiency, agility and resilience in the organization and actively shaping long-term development plans
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance, occupational safety guidelines and internal standards

What should you bring with you?

  • Completed university degree, ideally with an MBA or comparable further training
  • Several years of management experience in the areas of supply chain management, production planning, sales & operations planning, distribution and logistics
  • Sound knowledge of integrated planning, materials management and order processing
  • Experience in project management, especially in the design of global processes and organizational structures
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a high focus on results
  • Experience in optimizing processes, automation and setting up key performance indicator systems
  • Strong leadership skills: Ability to develop international teams, nurture talent and achieve high levels of employee engagement
  • Very good written and spoken English; other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to undertake international business trips
