ABOUT THE JOB

Forwarding Agent - Transportation Specialist (f/m/d)

What's in store for you?

  • Independent customer service
  • Preparation of necessary shipping documents for domestic and international shipments for all common modes of transport
  • Commissioning and selection of carriers and external service providers, including invoice verification
  • Communication at eye level with project managers, project participants and the customer's sales and logistics department
  • Obtaining and evaluating quotations
  • Creation of and compliance with KPIs

What should you bring with you?

  • Experience in customs and foreign trade as well as import and export (ATLAS, customs tariff numbers, certificates of origin)
  • High level of service orientation, development of own ideas to solve challenges
  • Experience in order processing in SAP desirable
  • Knowledge in dealing with TMS
  • Good MS Office skills and a high affinity for IT processes
  • Independence, commitment, a sense of responsibility and a strong ability to work in a team
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Flexibility and the willingness to look after changing customers
