Kühne + Nagel tightens its Organisational structure. At the same time, customer proximity is to be strengthened, as can be seen from the press release issued by the international logistics group.
The Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG has decided on a new direct reporting channel for the country organisations. The company hopes that this will lead to further Increased efficiency and profitable growth.
Simplified responsibilities
The existing regional structure is to be dissolved. Where it makes sense, it will be integrated into Kuehne + Nagel's global Group functions. In future, the respective cluster and country heads will report directly to the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG.
The new structure will be accompanied by a simplification of responsibilities. According to the company, this will enable Kuehne + Nagel's business and functional units to continuously adapt their strategy in line with current market developments. This will enable the divisions to react quickly to changes, according to the Group. The new structure also ensures greater consistency at a global level and improves access to customers.
