Hapag-Lloyd presented a new strategy last week. It bears the name "Strategy 2030". According to the logistics service provider's press release, it is a comprehensive strategy.

It sets the course for the company in terms of quality, sustainability, innovation and operational efficiency in a rapidly developing maritime industry.

Strategy 2030 builds on the previous Strategy 2023. The new strategy lays a strong foundation for the future.

The development of Strategy 2030

Strategy 2023 has cemented Hapag-Lloyd's reputation as a customer-oriented shipping company, emphasizes the long-established Hamburg-based company.

Extensive market and customer analyses were carried out for the new Strategy 2030. Hapag-Lloyd also reports intensive internal collaboration in the development of the strategy, in which the shipping company's global experts were involved.

According to the logistics service provider, customer service and environmental responsibility are of particular importance in Strategy 2030. There will also be a focus on innovative digital solutions.

Rolf Habben Jansen, CEO of Hapag-Lloyd, said: "We operate in a very dynamic industry characterized by changing customer needs, so a robust strategy is crucial. With Strategy 2030, we are in a position to assert ourselves as one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. It is the shipping company's most ambitious strategy to date.
