Procurement Consultant (m/f/d)

Support and execution of projects and/or sub-projects in the area of „Procurement Cost Optimisation“
Development and implementation of customer-specific problem solutions in procurement matters.
Analysis of global procurement markets, trends, suppliers, and prices, and the associated identification of cost-saving potentials for our clients
Main contact for suppliers, including supplier development in international markets, involving the relevant specialist departments and purchasing departments of our customers.
Leadership / Support for our project managers in supplier / price negotiations
Design and conclusion of supply agreements and framework contracts
Conducting and facilitating value, outsourcing, and make-or-buy analyses

Completed degree in economics or engineering
2-5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing within a medium-sized company and/or initial experience in management consulting.
A convincing personality combined with a high service mentality and strong customer focus
Willingness to perform, communication and teamwork skills, and strength of execution
Strong analytical skills and a good technical understanding
Targeted, action-oriented work
Long-term vision in customer support, taking into account our cross-selling products
Language skills: fluent German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
High willingness to travel (Mon - Thu on-site at the client's premises)
Hands-on mentality and a good dose of humour
