Digital transformation in port operations
TOC Europe (Terminal Operations Conference) is one of the leading trade fairs and conferences for terminal operations. Port and terminal operators and for the Logistics industry. It will take place from 11 to 13 June 2024 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Continental has announced that it will focus on the digital transformation of port operations and present tyre and digital technologies at TOC. The company's vision is: „Smart Port - Better Flow“.

Three solutions for sustainability and efficiency
According to the information provided, Continental will be presenting a portfolio of digital solutions for various applications for the first time. These are unique for the harbour segment.
The product range includes V.ply, radial and solid rubber tyres, designed for the demanding environment of a port terminal.
A solution called ContiConnect is a fleet management platform for large fleets in port operations. A smaller, free version for mobile devices, ContiConnect Lite, has also been developed for this purpose.
The new entry-level solution will also be presented. This is a valve cap sensor that can monitor tyre pressure directly at the valve.
