Adidas equips Mercedes Formula 1 team

Multi-year partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team

The sporting goods manufacturer Adidas is a new perennial Partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. This was announced in a press release, which Mercedes-Benz published on its website on 7 January 2025.

The partnership is based on a shared commitment to performance and top quality.

Collection for team and fans

As part of the collaboration, Adidas will, according to the press release, develop a complete Collection for the entire Formula 1 team - including drivers, mechanics and engineers.

There will also be products for fans. Adidas will develop and launch clothing, shoes and accessories for the team and its fan community. The first collection is to be presented in February.

Adidas as Official Team Partner

Bjørn Gulden, CEO of Adidas, explained: „The interest in racing in general and Formula 1 in particular has increased significantly. It reaches new consumers and has a huge impact on sport and street culture. We are very proud to bring the brand with the three stripes to Formula 1 as Official Team Partner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team - and with one of the most successful teams of all time.“

Toto Wolff, Co-Owner, Managing Director and Team Principal of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team said: „Our partnership with adidas is a clear commitment from our team as we begin to write our next chapter. adidas is an iconic brand that shares not only our commitment to excellence, but also to style and elegance.“ Wolff believes the collaboration will define what team and fan apparel means in racing.
