Our customer mateco, a leading provider of work platform rental with 60 locations in Germany, was confronted with decentralized procurement, with each location purchasing independently. This led to high process costs as well as inconsistent quality and safety standards in the area of personal protective equipment (PPE).
The aim of the project was to create transparency in the database, standardize the PPE product group across Germany and select suitable suppliers. These measures made it possible to leverage cost potential and significantly streamline procurement processes.
