A procurement cost optimization project was carried out in the area of facility management for our customer in the telecommunications industry with over 1,000 locations. Plant and property security as well as reception services had previously been assigned to different service providers in different regions.
The aim was, among other things, to create transparency, including reviewing the individual location characteristics and assessing the actual need for security personnel and gate and reception services. In addition, the allocation of service providers in connection with existing alarm systems was to be optimized.
