Global Category Manager IT (m/f/d) Indirect Material

As Global Category Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible within the team for the global procurement of IT/telecommunications services as well as hardware/software products.
You are responsible for the development and implementation of category strategies in the areas of hardware, software, and IT services.
You will coordinate global savings projects, develop sourcing projects and implement them, for example, via electronic catalogues.
You keep an eye on technical trends and market developments in the IT sector, carry out continuous risk assessments, and develop measures for cost reduction.
Furthermore, analyse and evaluate categories and build an adequate supplier structure for the entire IT sector.
You manage contract processes, negotiate amendments, and resolve contract disputes in collaboration with Legal & Compliance.

Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and negotiation, particularly in the procurement of IT/telecommunications services, IT licenses, and hardware/software products.
In-depth knowledge of leading complex IT sourcing projects
Experience in managing challenging change projects
Ability to think strategically and develop long-term strategies for the procurement category
Very good communication skills and advanced English knowledge
