About the position

(Senior) Manager (m/f/d) Supply Chain Management

What lies ahead for you?

  • Strategic consulting and close collaboration with our clients' top management in the development and implementation of future-oriented strategies and concepts.
  • Independent execution of national and international consulting projects along the entire value chain in the manufacturing industry.
  • Management and control of complex projects, including project planning, resource management, and goal tracking.
  • Simultaneous leadership and coordination of several projects in the area of supply chain management.
  • Development of tailor-made solutions, for example, for business model transformation, realignment of global production networks, end-to-end supply chain optimisation and determination of the optimal degree of value creation.
  • Applying innovative and digital consulting approaches for increased efficiency and sustainable transformation.
  • Leadership and development of project teams, as well as active contribution to the rapid expansion of the business unit.
  • Continuous optimisation and further development of our consulting approaches, methods, and tools.
  • Active acquisition of new projects from existing and new clients, as well as the targeted expansion of the client network.
  • Joint responsibility with senior management for the strategic and operational expansion of the Supply Chain Management department.

What should you bring?

  • Several years' experience in strategy or process consulting in a comparable position, as well as in-depth knowledge of project management.
  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably in industrial engineering or a comparable field.
  • In-depth know-how in the areas of strategy development, operational excellence, logistics, and supply chain optimisation.
  • Proven leadership experience and competence in managing teams.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills, along with a confident demeanour when dealing with customers.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills for developing innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels of hierarchy.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken.
  • High willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
  • Residency within the DACH region.
