Merging various logistics services into one unit
The Duisport Group announced that the Duisport agency, Duisport facility logistics and Bohnen Logistik divisions will be merged into one unit under the name Duisport logistics & port services. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of August 2024 and will apply retroactively from 1 January 2024.
According to the press release, this will mean that in future all Logistics services, such as Contract logistics or Road freight transport, from a portfolio.
Lars Nennhaus, duisport COO and CTO, explains: „The establishment of the new unit is a milestone for duisport: we are putting the company in a position to consolidate the entire operational business and offer our customers customised, targeted solutions“

About Duisport logistics & port services
Volker Grzybowski, Julian Schneider and Peter van Ling will take over the management of Duisport logistics & port services.
According to the information, two business divisions will be created, one comprising „transports“ and the second dealing with „logistics and port services“. A further division, „shared services“, will be created to support the two divisions in operational activities and to drive forward development.
