Coffee roaster adjusts prices
Tchibo reacts to increased Costs. Raw coffee is also more expensive, according to the traditional Hamburg-based company. That's why Tchibo is now increasing the prices for its Roasted coffee. The coffee provider announced this on Tuesday.
According to the press release, prices are to be increased by between 50 cents and 1.00 euro per pound, depending on the variety and country of origin. The last Price adjustment Tchibo implemented two years ago, as the German market leader emphasises.
“In order to continue to offer our customers the usual high Tchibo quality, we too must now act. We hesitated for a long time," explains Arnd Liedtke, company spokesperson for Tchibo GmbH.
Furthermore, Liedtke explains that Tchibo can continue to purchase high-quality raw coffee beans and support its partners in coffee-producing countries with fair prices.
