Mahle: Products for climate change in the transport sector

Announcement for the IAA Transportation in September

The automotive supplier Mahle has already said something about his presentation at the upcoming IAA Transportation revealed. The commercial vehicle trade fair will take place in Hanover from 17 to 22 September 2024.

In this regard, the Group demonstrates that it has components and a high level of system expertise for battery electric drives, hydrogen engines, fuel cells and the use of renewable fuels.

Hydrogen engine projects

Mahle also emphasises that it is extensively represented with components in all currently launched electrified trucks. In addition, the technology group says it is working on major hydrogen engine projects and development projects for fuel cell vehicles.

According to the Stuttgart-based company's press release, the commercial vehicle segment accounts for around a fifth of the original equipment business. The trend here is rising. According to Mahle, it is expecting particularly strong growth in China.
