World's largest yacht and water sports fair

Since Saturday, the Düsseldorf Water sports industry to the Boot. Until 26 January, visitors to the exhibition grounds will be able to find the following, according to the organiser, the Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, a wide variety of boats, dinghies, superboats and luxury yachts.

With over 200,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and 1,500 exhibitors on 220,000 square metres, Boot is the largest yacht and water sports fair in the world, writes the trade fair company.

In addition to the exhibition stands, there will also be a large stage programme and workshops. The current edition of Boot will also focus on topics such as marine conservation and sustainable technologies, according to the trade fair organisers' press release.

55,000 visitors on the first weekend of the fair

Regarding the first days of the trade fair, the trade fair organiser writes: „The water sports community celebrated a strong weekend in 16 exhibition halls.“

According to the organisers, a total of around 55,000 visitors from 89 countries attended Boot last weekend.

There were numerous boat premieres both in the superboat hall and in the hall for luxury yachts. Many of the futuristic yachts were ceremoniously unveiled at the weekend and presented to the public for the first time.

International global players in the industry

„This density of premieres is unique in the world at a water sports trade fair,“ says Petros Michelidakis, Director of Boot. According to Michelidakis, many international global players in the industry use Boot Düsseldorf to launch their innovations for the coming water sports season. According to the fair director, the suppliers know that they have a high buyer potential in Düsseldorf.
