Investments in Germany

Miele is on a solid growth trajectory and confident for the 2025 financial year. This is according to a recent press release published by the Gütersloh-based household appliance manufacturer.

The traditional company increased its revenue in the 2024 financial year by 1.7 per cent compared to the previous year to 5.04 billion euros, according to its own figures.

In its press release, Miele also announces new Investments The family-run company plans to invest around €500 million in Germany by 2028.

Transformation programme

Regarding the development of the 2024 financial year, Reinhard Zinkann, Miele's Joint Managing Director, stated: „We celebrated our 125th anniversary worldwide while simultaneously launching one of the largest transformation programmes in the company's history.“

Within the framework of the new MPP (Miele Performance Program) transformation programme, Miele has achieved important milestones so far, the company writes.

According to its press release, Miele has already implemented 50 percent of the planned revenue enhancement and efficiency improvement measures amounting to €500 million.

Artificial intelligence

Miele is investing in AI for the company as a whole, according to Markus Miele. This ranges from administration and production right through to service.

According to the home appliance manufacturer, artificial intelligence accelerates innovation processes in all areas of the company, for example in production.

Forecast and outlook

Even with the challenging framework conditions, Miele sees positive signs according to its own statement. The company counts the construction crisis, consumer restraint, intense competition, and geopolitical developments among the challenges.
