Our client, ArcelorMittal, a global steel industry group, faced challenges in maintenance with unclear task assignments, a lack of prioritisation, and inconsistent processes. Additionally, there was no structured continuous improvement (CI) basis for ongoing enhancement, leading to unexplo'd efficiency potential and limiting the productivity of the maintenance team.
The aim was to significantly increase the productivity of the maintenance team, establish a uniform and transparent process in maintenance, and provide methods for all trades.
Through our support, productivity could be increased by 34 %, the standardised method was successfully implemented for all trades and plant utilisation significantly improved.
