Over 19 years of practical experience

With over 19 years of project experience and an international network of more than 5,000 supply chain and procurement experts, we know how to translate solid expertise into measurable results. Our references prove it: together, we sustainably reduce costs and increase productivity.

Solutions for a scalable supply chain

Our solutions ensure a scalable and resilient supply chain that functions reliably even in volatile and unstable supply chains. Through targeted transformation, we make procurement future-proof and thus secure it against risks.

Measurable results

Sustainable savings of between 5 % and 15 % are typical, accompanied by organisational and cultural improvements.

Leading companies' trust:

High repeat order rates and long-term customer relationships prove the effectiveness of our approach.

Transformation for Corporations and SMEs

We tailor our transformation approaches to the individual needs of each company - realistically, pragmatically and effectively. Instead of working from a corporate perspective, we develop solutions that can actually be implemented and create real added value.

Transformation without resource constraints

We create the capacities that companies often do not have for their necessary transformation and thus drive change forward much faster. In this way, we enable sustainable change without burdening internal resources.

Transformation in Purchasing with the 6 Fields of Action

When analysing and developing transformation concepts, we work with our tried-and-tested 6-topic approach from KLOEPFEL by EPSA. This holistic approach ensures that all key areas - from strategy and organisation to processes and employee development - are incorporated into your projects. In this way, we create the basis for a sustainable increase in efficiency, clear responsibilities and stable, future-proof structures. These topics do not stand alone, but are mutually dependent.

Strategies also serve to achieve objectives in purchasing. It is therefore necessary to expand purchasing to include strategic planning. We check whether the purchasing strategy fits in with the overarching corporate strategy and supports it optimally. Specific strategies are developed for individual product groups and sourcing concepts. All measures are incorporated into a clear plan for strategic purchasing, the success of which is regularly measured and reported.

To optimise procurement processes, one must start with order workflows. We examine strategic planning and control processes in purchasing and create clear structures for achieving objectives, prioritisation and implementation. Early risk detection and compliance are central levers for sustainable procurement success. We systematically integrate them into the process landscape.

Building on the processes, organisation is about the optimal interplay of structures and the creation of the leanest and most efficient organisation possible. We analyse how procurement is anchored within the company, whether it is strategically integrated, and what contribution it makes to the company's success. We also evaluate governance structures and examine whether procurement is correctly dimensioned in terms of personnel and organisation. Clear principles and guidelines will be defined to enable procurement to operate effectively and sustainably.

Every organisational step forward can only be achieved with suitably capable employees. We define clear roles in purchasing, identify skills requirements and promote targeted further development and qualification. Through skills gap analyses and the consistent alignment of development needs with the strategic objectives of the organisation and processes.

We analyse the current level of digitalisation and automation in procurement in order to identify potential for increasing efficiency. Based on this, we develop a clear digitalisation strategy with a structured tool portfolio and select suitable systems. We support the introduction of digital solutions and AI applications in order to quickly achieve measurable improvements in procurement.

Purchasing controlling stands above all individual processes. We create understandable data structures, thereby ensuring clarity in the purchasing process. Relevant key figures make performance measurable, reveal potential for optimisation and enable targeted management. Through clearly defined objectives and a structured continuous improvement process, we continuously develop purchasing.

Procurement Transformation

Leading drinks manufacturer

Our client, a leading beverage manufacturer (anonymised), transformed its procurement from manual, Excel-based processes with media breaks to a data-driven, digitally integrated function. Initial situation: lack of transparency and strategy, poor integration with production, logistics, and sales, high complexity due to temperature-controlled supply chains. Objectives: increase efficiency through digitalisation, strategic realignment based on robust data, cross-functional collaboration, and quick wins.

Approach: Situation analysis via online surveys and interviews, definition of clear objectives/fields of action, implementation of digital tools (ERP integration, Spend Cube), initial category strategies (e.g., packaging, raw materials), workshops and on-the-job training, KPI set with controlling. Levers: Market transparency, systematic supplier evaluation, structured action plans.

Results: Lead times −25 to −27 %(prospectively up to −35 %) through system integration and process automation. Savings: Packaging up to −9 %, „red fruit“ up to −7 % . Additionally improved demand planning, more stable supply chains, and noticeably less food waste. Sales argumentation and controlling benefit from reliable, accessible data.
