Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) Supply Chain Management

What lies ahead for you?

You conduct cost and market analyses and identify new suppliers, both domestically and abroad.
You will drive the development and implementation of purchasing strategies to optimise costs, quality and security of supply.
You select suppliers, assess them, and conduct price and condition negotiations independently.
You actively shape the further development of supplier relationships and supplier performance.
In collaboration with other departments, you will identify requirements for materials and services.
You will be responsible for the operational processing of orders and the monitoring of the entire procurement process.
You will be involved in cross-functional projects and in the optimisation of procurement processes in Source-to-Contract and Purchase-to-Pay.
Complaints and delivery issues will be handled by you to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
The checking of invoices and the authorisation of payments following successful delivery and quality control also fall within your area of responsibility.

What should you bring?

You have a completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
You have professional experience in strategic or technical purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment.
You are characterised by your negotiation skills, assertiveness, and in-depth knowledge of contract law.
As a team player, you value close collaboration with colleagues and work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
You enjoy working with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analytical thinking.
Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial products would be an advantage.
Proficiency in handling ERP systems, MS Office, and modern digital tools is a matter of course for you.
Excellent German and English language skills, as well as intercultural competence, round off your profile.
Occasional national and international business trips are seen as an exciting change to your daily work routine.
