Modernisation of the recycling plant and circulation system in Alling

MEA Bausysteme has announced that it will invest over 600,000 euros in the Modernisation of its precast concrete plant in Alling. This is part of the investment programme, which is intended to increase sustainability as well as production reliability and quality.

The Alling site should be a role model for Sustainability and Innovation in the construction industry.

Recycling plant for residual concrete

The investment will reportedly finance a new recycling plant that will be used to process residual concrete. The plant can efficiently utilise the residues that arise during production. Using modern technology, concrete residues can be separated, cleaned and finally recycled. This reduces waste and makes production more sustainable.

The resulting recycled material is then used as a secondary raw material in new construction projects, according to the press release. This reduces both costs and the environmental impact.

The system is designed for efficient water utilisation, in which the water is reused. This saves fresh water and in turn contributes to environmental protection, as less waste water is produced. The liquid residual concrete and the recycled water are used again for production.

Jochen Engelke, Managing Director of MEA Bausysteme, emphasises: „The Bibko ComTec 4 recycling plant is an important contribution to promoting the circular economy in the construction industry. By reusing concrete waste and reducing the consumption of resources, we are making an active contribution to environmental protection.“

Circulation system for the production of concrete light wells

In addition, the circulation system, which is used for the production of concrete light wells, will be modernised. The investments are intended to improve the control and automation of the plant by modernising the system. This will also increase work safety. The circulation system will be equipped with a visual display and reprogrammed so that faults can be diagnosed more easily in future.
