Our client, the world's oldest printing press manufacturer, develops highly specialised printing systems and associated peripherals. The focus was on a chain guide, the function of which is to precisely guide a chain within the printing press. Previously, the component was manufactured using an elaborate flame-cutting and milling process.
The aim was to create full cost transparency and highlight more economical manufacturing options. Overall, we have realised a documented savings potential of €372,600.
