Cost optimisation of security, including reception services.

A procurement cost optimisation project was carried out in the area of facility management for our client from the telecommunications sector with over 1,000 locations. Security services and reception services had previously been assigned to different service providers on a regional basis.

One of the objectives was to create transparency, including an examination of individual site characteristics, and to assess the actual need for security personnel, as well as gate and reception services. Furthermore, the allocation of service providers was to be optimised in conjunction with existing alarm monitoring.
